Nearly simultaneously, two thoughts immediately crossed Aziraphale’s mind the moment their lips had touched.
First: Aziraphale would have dreamed of having Crowley like this, if he could dream at all. Because this is a fantasy, lulled in its removal from the circumstances binding them from each other in their lives otherwise. This is mad. This is impossible. Or: this is only possible because Crowley believes that loathsome demon Ferngully (?) to have the photograph. A task he’d very nearly succeeded at, if not for Aziraphale. A task that Aziraphale had been excited to reveal, and now, in a tragic turn of events, it’s the very thing he needs to keep hidden if he wants to continue kissing Crowley.
Which leads him to his second realization: Crowley cannot, under any circumstances, discover the photograph.
